Want to explore a unique area of the watershed and experience the natural bounty of spring in full swing? Then join us for a guided nature walk following our Earth Day Marin Stables Broom Bust. Marin Water’s Forest Health and Watershed Resiliency Fellow will share their knowledge of this ecologically interesting slice of the watershed.
Registration is not required. This nature walk will take place after the morning habitat restoration activity, and you are welcome to join either or both events that day. This is a family-friendly activity and minors under the age of 16 must have a guardian present.
Meeting location is at the Marin Stables parking lot. From downtown Fairfax, turn onto Bolinas-Fairfax Road. Less than a mile down the road, turn left on Porteous Avenue; keep right at every turn (Porteous Ave, Wood Lane) until you are at the Marin Stables parking lot. This is a narrow road, so please be safe and drive slowly to be respectful of the neighborhood.
